Ehhh

We were behind the entire game.
Came back and went ahead by one with less than a minute to play.
They handed the game to us on a silver platter thanks to an offensive foul by Dartmouth.
And we handed it right back. 45-44
:(

The problem is we never should have been in that position in the first place! This was definitely one of those games we should have won and blew it because we beat ourselves. It was almost an amazing and unforgettable moment. Now it's just unforgettable.

But we move on. We got back on the bus. Talked to each other, worked through the frustration and shame. And we get today to rest up and prepare for a hard week of learning from our mistakes. This season reminds me of my sophomore year in high school. All the talent in the world but just managing to beat ourselves up. It's after games like last night where I look around the bus and thank God we don't have any seniors.

But oh man, now I know what they mean about such a big rivalry between the two teams.

And next time, I have a feeling the story is going to end a little differently.

P.S. Keep Claire in your prayers--she wasn't even allowed to come to the game yesterday because of her head injury. She is a huge part of our team, as all the girls are, and was greatly missed last night. Pray that her head will heal and she will start to feel like herself again.

P.P.S. We might have a snowstorm tonight and tomorrow!! They are saying possibly anywhere from *3-5 inches. (*now it might not be as bad...)
