Power Verse Extravaganza

Well more like this one passage has continued to pop up over and over again today and I just wanted to share it with everyone :). Big week ahead. Good time to remember my favorite verse of Philippians 4:13-"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

The Passage:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The LORD is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of all peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:4-9

There are so many words and phrases I want to highlight and underline and circle in that passage it's crazy! But the top three are these:

1) the LORD is near-he's here, he's with us, he goes before us-he will never leave us nor forsake us-he will never give us more than we can bear
2) do not be anxious about anything-TRUST him. trust him. trust him.
3)with thanksgiving-thank God for the blessings in your life. he has proven faithful so many times before, trust that he will carry you through this time as well.

Big big week ahead: philo paper, stats test, photo project, and a truckload of Italian homework. But the LORD is near-he will carry me through. And whatever you are going through at this time in life? He's got you too.
