78-66. :| argh. First home loss. Secured them 1st place. First time in a long time we have been swept by them. Ugh.
We were able to beat Penn on a bit of a scare--55-52. Yesterday we came out ready to play and played hard, but not quite hard enough as Princeton started pulling away in the last four or so minutes of the game. What a game.
And now today is homework and laundry and church and some more homework. These losses take an emotional punch at the gut that I don't particularly appreciate. After the game yesterday we had a banquet upstairs in the lounge for all of the players and their families. Since we didn't have any seniors, we surprised Kathy with a night in honor of her. There was a slideshow and each player read a poem about Kathy. It was quite a riot. We have some hilarious people on our team :). It was nice to laugh even in the face of that loss. I can only imagine how different the night would have been if we would have won. Ah well. Can't do anything about it now...
Except kill Dartmouth.
O&O,
M
P.S. It's supposed to be 56 degrees and sunny today! Yay!
