Sandy Update

Hi all,

Just a quick update on Hurricane Sandy. Boston had a lot of wind...still some today but not nearly as much. School and most activities were cancelled yesterday because the wind gusts were up to 60 mph. The subway system closed at 2pm, but is running again today. This morning the sun was shining, although the forecast shows rain for the day. From all appearances, Boston survived quite well. Much needed prayers for New York City though--transit is still shut down, trees are down, power is out, homes were destroyed...the city was hit very hard. Thankfully none of our Bronx family was hurt or had awful home damage, although one person did have a lot of car damage.
