Had an absolutely fabulous Thanksgiving with my biological grandparents in Rhinebeck, NY; there were a total of 33 people there; we played rousing games of cards, spoons, capture the flag, football, and fictionary; food was delicious, fellowship delightful, and fun was had by all :)
Lost to Holy Cross by 30 at their place :( ay. yi. yi.
Turned in my full draft of my 15-page sophomore tutorial paper :)
Turned in our group project paper for organizational psych :)
Took an entire day off yesterday in an attempt to catch up on some sleep and relaxation :)
Have four loads of laundry in the dryer now... :) (I guess haha)

Last week of classes this week. Then reading period followed by exams. Oh joy. First home game on Friday vs. Hartford! Everyone is so excited to finally play at home. Our record is 3-2--all away games. Tuesday we play down at Florida. Then Friday we play at home again vs. UNH. The pre-Christmas season is wrapped up with a game against Sacred Heart at home on the 22nd. The next day after that I'll be on my way home!

Four final draft papers and two exams from now my sophomore fall semester will be complete. I was just reading through some of my journal entries from last year around this time--crazy to think how different this year has been. Learning to trust God with those near and far has been (and will more than likely continue to be) a tough learning experience. But He has everything in control--the good, the bad, and the ugly.

One day at a time, manageable bites, and staying focused on the turns.

It's the home stretch.
